From your photo to a work of art
Punch needle is a calming hobby where you use a special needle to bring a photo to life on canvas, loop by loop.
Whether it's a portrait of your loyal four-legged friend, a photo of your lovely grandchildren or a special holiday memory, we turn it into a clear pattern on canvas, so all you have to do is punch.
Make it for yourself or for someone else! A personalised punch needle artwork is the most personal and unique gift you can give.
How it works
- Upload your photo — choose a clear photo for the best result. The more detail in the photo, the better the pattern.
- Choose your size — pick the size that suits you. Photos with lots of elements or details come out better on a larger canvas.
- Add to cart and order — as soon as you've placed your order, we get started. The canvas is printed with your photo, so it's made especially for you. Custom designs are delivered within 9–12 working days.
- Receive your kit and start straight away — the kit contains everything you need. Open the box, thread the needle and off you go. The instructions explain step by step how it works. Stitch by stitch, you'll see your photo come to life.

Which size should I choose?
40x50cm is perfect for photos with clear outlines and little background detail, such as a close-up of your pet or a portrait.
Not sure? Always go for a larger size. The bigger the canvas, the more detail shows in the pattern and the better the end result.
Please note: if you choose a portrait size, please upload a portrait photo too. If the proportions don't match, we have to crop the photo, which may cut off something at the edges.
